Hungary-Denmark 6-5 shootout
Girls played their final game of the 4 Nations Tournament in Újpest against Denmark, head coach Tibor Marton gave Renáta Poltzer the starting spot in net. Denmark scored the opening goal of the game however Hanna Pintér tied it up on nice wrap around shorthanded goal. Denmark took a one goal lead into the first break on a one timer late in the period. In the second period Denmark scored twice in under a minute to go up 4-1 but before the period was out Kitti Trencsényi made it a two goal game when she banked the puck off of the goalie and into the back of the net. Hungary got things together in the third period, during a 69 second span they scored three times to flip the score. Lilli Pintér fired a rocket on the power play to make it a one goal game, a minute later Réka Dabas tied the game up with a shot from the slot and Nora Brigles jumped on a loose puck to give Hungary their first lead of the game. Later in the period Denmark managed to tie the game up and the game went into overtime. There were no goals scored in the extra session and in the shootout Fruzsina Mayer scored the winning shootout goal.
