Tibor Martin and the Women's senior team will open training camp on Tuesday in preparation for the upcoming 4 Nations tournament to be held in the Ice Palace between February 6th through the 8th.
The Hungarian team will be facing Slovakia, France and Denmark, all three teams last year played one level above Hungary, with Slovakia being relegated.
“For the world championships we will have a team of 20 skaters and two goalies, but when you have a tournament like this on home ice you have the chance to practice with a larger roster, more players have a chance to show something than usual. I would be very happy if there was competition for every roster spot on the team. We will have two rounds of roster cuts but every player has a simple task, they have to prove to the staff why they should stay.” Head coach Tibor Marton
The roster is made up of four goalies, twelve defencemen and twenty forwards with eight players playing outside of Hungary.
