Women Lose in Shoot out

After shutting out Slovakia in the opening game of the 4 nations tournament in Ujpest the women were back at it in a game against neighboring Austria, Anikó Németh got the start in net again. Austria was up 1-0 before the five minute mark of the game on a power play goal. Austria scored twice more in the period, with the last goal coming in the final minute to give the visitors a 3-0 lead. Hungary settled down in the second period as neither team scored a goal. Hungary final got on the scoreboard when Andrea Kiss and Alexandra Huszak went in on a two on one with Huszák capping it off with some nice stick work, minutes later Huszák and Kiss combined again, this time Huszák banked it off of the goalie to make it a one goal game. Hungary managed to tie the game up with a power play goal when the Austrian player put the puck in their own net, the goal was credited to Hanna Pintér. The game stayed tied at 3-3 in the closing minutes of the game. In overtime neither team managed to score despite having scoring chances, in the shootout Hungary did not score on either scoring chance whereas Austria did.
