The Women’s U18 team took on host nation Great Britain at a 4 Nations Tournament that was held in Sheffield England.

Hungary-Great Britain 7-1

The game started great for Hungary as they already had a 1-0 lead five minutes into the game from a goal by Fruzsina Mayer, less than ten minutes later Orsolya Váradi doubled the lead. Hungary outshot team GB 17 to 3.

Great Britian got on the board early in the second period but less than a minute later Hanna Pintér put Hungary back up by two goals

Hungary really dominated in the third period as Pavuk would end up scoring two in the final twenty minutes and Pinter would complete her hat trick with two more goals as well.

Head coach Norbert Búzás: Today we forced our game on to the Brits, we skated more and we already put pressure on them when they were still in their own end of the ice. We dominated for most of the game, the girls played well in the systems and tactics that we practised.
