
The Women’s U18 national team spent the weekend in Zlin Czech Republic where the Visegrád Four tournament was held where on the second they took on the U18 team of Slovakia.
The girls started well against Slovakia on Saturday as they were up 1-0 in the first period Zóra Gottlibet took a pass from Rebeka Ungár and put past the goalie. Slovakia tied it up on a power play goal but five minutes later Hungary was back up by one when Ungár scored on a 4 on 3. In the third period both teams played disciplined and in the 52 minute Ungár scored against as the final score of 3-1 was set.
Head coach Tibor Marton and his staff decided to go with Renáta Poltzer in net who made 16 saves.
