The women’s U18 national team took part in a two day training camp in the Tüskecsarok, after which Head Coach Norbert Buzás talked to icehockey.hu
“This year the coaching staffs are being overhauled in the women’s national team program, Tibor Marton will be the senior team head coach and I will be in charge at the U18 team. Only the 1997 age group is left from the “big generation” in the U18 age group, the national team has basically overturned from the group that won promotion to the A-Pool in Tromso. Now we are building a new team and the first building blocks are being set at this training camp. We have four girls that are playing up from the U15 team, that team has been around for three seasons so now we have girls moving up from there. However they are not age eligible for the U18 world championships they are playing at a high level, they were able to keep up with the older girls”
