The Hungarian women's national team will taking on the Canadian U23 team today at 18:00 in St.Pölten Austria were the Canadians are in training camp.
The Hungarian roster is made up of two goalies, nine defencemen and eleven forwards, with only five of players playing abroad are on the roster. Kriszti Krivi and Ágnes Szigeti play in Slovakia, Nora Brgles and Zsófia Jókai Szilágyi in Sweden with Mónika Molnár in from Canada, none of the Russian contingency made the trip.
This is clearly not the final roster that will be used for the World Championships in China in April.
“For our senior team this is their first game of the season, if we are playing a scrimmage it might has well be against a strong opponent so we can see the mistakes that need to be corrected. We are expecting the team to be focused throughout the 60 minutes and to work hard from start to finish” Head coach Tibor Marton
