On the last day before the start of the hockey marathon the national team only had practice in the morning, on Friday they will be taking on Austria in the Tüskecsarnok.
The coaching staff took back on the intensity on Thursday as the team worked on tactics during their 100 minute practice with the final 30 minutes working with Sanyi in the methodical center.
The team started to work on their game for Friday against Austria which will be at 18:00 in the Tüskecsarnok. Dániel Kóger is still out rehabbing his knee and István Bartalis will be sitting the game out as well. The rest of the player that will be scratched were coaching decisions as they will be dressing two goalies eight defencemen and twelve forwards for the game. The official lines are not set but the roster is been let known if they are playing.
ROSTER FOR FRIDAY
Goalies (2): Hetényi, Vay
Defenseman (8): Dudás, Garát, Mestyán, Sagert, Stipsicz, Szirányi, M.Vas, Wehrs
Forwards (12): Benk, Galló, Hári, Könczei, Magosi, G.Nagy, K.Nagy, Sarauer, Sebők, Sikorcin, Sofron, Terbócs
Bence Stipsicz: We worked on our power play and short handed situations, it was a great practice, today we really worked on tactics. We have to really pay attention because sometimes things change compared to what was drawn up or what was shown on tape. I am the second youngest player here in camp and it is still strange to find myself in this group.
Márton Vas: We were already preparing for tomorrow and we mixed up the lines a bit, there was some work on the power play and shorthanded situations. We will be going at 100% tomorrow, we need to concentrate from start to finish and we need to play within the system and what the coaching staff is expecting from us. We need to keep in mind that we do not need to be in top form now but on May 7th.
Bálint Magosi: We had a usually day before game day practice, we had some drills and then we worked on faceoffs in the attacking zone. We worked on powerplay and penalty kills, we were not working on our conditioning. This will be the first time I will be playing in a game since my injury eight weeks ago, I am sitting on pins and needles to pull on the national team jersey and to play. Playing within the system in the main goal, however we would like to win and that's it.
