There roster has been annoucned for the World Championships and icehockey.hu cought up with some of teh players that will be making their IIHF world championships debut as well as head coach Rich Chernomaz.

Vilmos Galló: "It is a sensational feeling to make the roster, when I the team won promotion in Krakow I made it my goal to make the St.Petersburg roster. I don’t really know what else to say, it will be a great experience and I will be able to see what else I still need to improve upon."
Zsombor Garát: "I am very happy and it is an honor to play with guys like this, everyone is trying to make the traveling roster but we saw the hard work that everyone did the past couple weeks, so I do feel bad about the guys that missed the cut. This is the best thing that can happen to us as players and as a team where none of us have played. We were here seven years ago but it will be different this time around. We will be ready for everything and now we are going step by step to reach a common goal."
Ádám Vay: "I did have the goal of making the final roster and luckily everything came together for me the past couple of weeks, and I am ecstatic. Now I will keep on practicing and I will be ready for the first chance to play.
Rich Chernomaz: It basically came down to performance, some players out performed others and that was the difference maker. Losing Hári was a big lose, he is our most skilled forward at distributing the puck, now we need Sebők, Bartalis and Csanád and guys like that will need to step up and take a bigger role. We can’t have 14 skilled forwards, we need guys that can fill different roles play a physical game and work hard. We accomplished what we could during camp from the start, I am very happy with our conditioning and I think we will be ready to play seven games in ten days.
