The Hungarian national team had an early afternoon practice after their second game of the tournament, a loss to Canada.
After losing to Canada, the Hungarian national team was in relatively high spirits which was due to the great fan supports. Television networks in Canada, the U.S., Sweden and Russia all aired footage of the Hungarian fans singing the national anthem.
During the early afternoon practice the team had the official team photo, after which they had a light workout and worked on the special teams.
István Bartalis: We did some exercises and worked on some 2 on 1 and 3 on 1 and with the power play and penalty kill and then finished it up with some 5 on 5 d-zone coverage. I think that everyone is getting ready for our upcoming game.
Vilmos Galló: We had some GoPro equipment on for a film shooting, where they can have better angles for this, it was actually pretty cool how they had this on us. I am very interested on what the final product will be.
Balázs Sebők: I think it went better for me during the Go-Pro shooting drills, I think Vili has some catching up to do. This practice was a bit longer and we do feel a bit tired but I think we will be fine for game time.
