After a grueling defeat to the hands of Finland by the score of 3-0, the Hungarian national team was back on the ice for a sixty minute practice Thursday afternoon.
After the loss to Finland the team was in a good mood because they know they had left everything on the ice and played within the tactics. Thursday morning the team had the option of visiting the Hermitage museum which almost all of the team took advantage of before having an afternoon ice session. Most of the players hit the ice for the practice except for Sofron, Kóger, Nagy, Vas, Sarauer, Wehrs, Dudás, Benk, Szirányi and Sagert.
Bence Stipsicz: It's great that I made the team and that I have been able to play against teams like this, it has been a great experience. Yesterday was a positive game after a horrible French game even though we lost 3-0, we stuck to the game plan against a very good Finland.
Bálint Magosi: Today was an easier day, we had an opportunity to go into the city and see the Winter Palace., which by the way is a nice place. We had a light practice today to get the legs moving. It is nice that the U.S. and the Finland game are not on the same day, so that we can rest.
