
Hungarian national team coach Rich Chernomaz has announced a preliminary roster for the EIHC Four nations tournament that will be held between November 7-9. at the Ice Palace in Budapest.
The squad will start the training camp on November 3rd where the 60 players will be split into three 20 man groups, with one practice on Monday and two on Tuesday, roster cuts will be made after the second Tuesday practice, when the team will be cut down to 28 players. The coaching staff will be going with these 28 for the rest of the week and the three matches in the tournament.
All 23 players from the 2014 IIHF Division 1A World Championships are in the team. Six out of the eight MOL League teams as well as Székesfehérvár from the EBEL are represented on the roster. Coach Chernomaz also picked players that might not be eligible yet for an IIHF tournament however getting their citizenship is already under process.
The national teams of Korea, Poland and Italy will be taking part in the Four Nations tournament.
