
Miklós Németh has stepped down as President of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation, the organization has 60 days to find a replacement.
“You have to step aside when you are on top”- Miklós Németh left with these words as well as thanking the work of the the of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation as he step down from his position.
The organization has 60 days to find a replacement, which means the new president will not be in place for next weeks May 28th yearly general meeting.
Miklós Németh became the President on of the Federation on June 11th 2010, taking over for Ferenc Studniczky who had been the president during the Sapporo World Championships in 2008. Németh was unanimously re elected last year for another term.
