
As we are deep into the second half of the season most of the youth leagues’ playoff pictures and final standings are coming into focus.
U14
This is the youngest level where scores are kept and there is a race for a championship title. In this ages group there are 27 teams split into three groups, A, B and C, where the top ten teams are in the A the next ten in the B and the remaining 7 are in teh C group. Currently the middle section of the season is being contended until February 28th which is then followed by the playoffs. In the strongest group, MAC Budapest is at the top of the standings followed by ISK-HSC Csíkszereda, UTE 2001 and ifj. Ocskay Gábor Jéjkorong Akadémia.

U16
The age group like the U14 is split into groups as well with 8 teams playing in the stronger A group and 8 in the B group, both groups have started the playoffs. In the semifinals MAC Budapest has 2 game to zero lead over UTE in the best of five series, in the other semi finals ijf. Ocskay Gábor Akadémia is up 1-0 against ISK-HSC Csíkszereda.

U18
The regular season ended yesterday with the Vasas-MAC Budapest matchup, where the visiting team lead from the start but Vasas tied the game up in the closing minutes and won the game in overtime. This results means that Vasas won the regular season title with MAC finishing second, both teams will have a first round by. In the first round ifj. Ocskay Gábor Jégkorong Akadémia will face Pesterszébeti Farkasok and Miskolci JJSE will take on Debreceni HK on a best of three series.

U20
In the oldest division the seven team league is finishing up the regular season in which there are still seven games left. After the regular season final the top to teams will be playing for the gold medal, teams three and four will be competing for the bronze with teams five and six for the fifth place. Ifj. Ocskay Gábor Jégkorong Akadémia is already in the title game with a 14 point lead over MAC Budapest who has an 8 point lead over third place Debrecen.
